1. What we collect
When you submit a sourcing request we collect the information you provide: your name, company, work email, country, the vertical you select, your requirement description, and any links to drawings, bills of materials or reference products. We also collect standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and secure the site.
We do not collect payment details on this website during the pilot program.
2. How we use it
We use your information for exactly one purpose: completing your sourcing request. That means parsing your requirement into engineering criteria, matching it against our supplier graph, contacting suppliers on your behalf, and delivering your shortlist report. We also use your email to send you status updates about your request.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your requirement details to benefit other buyers.
3. Sharing with suppliers
To obtain quotations we share relevant parts of your requirement with suppliers being evaluated for your request. By default, first-round outreach describes your requirement without revealing your company identity; your identity and technical files are shared only with suppliers you approve, and supplier NDAs can be required before drawings are released.
4. AI processing
Our sourcing agent uses large language models to parse requests, score supplier matches, draft outreach and normalize quotes — always with human oversight before anything is sent externally. Your data is processed for your request only and is not used to train public models.
5. Retention
Active request data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 24 months, so we can support follow-ups and re-orders. You may ask us to delete your request data earlier at any time, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
6. Security
Requirement data and technical files are stored with access controls limited to the team working on your request. Supplier-facing communications go through monitored channels, and we log what was shared with whom, and when.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@taisource.example. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (such as the EU/EEA or UK), we honor access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability requests consistent with applicable law.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site. If we introduce analytics, we will prefer privacy-preserving tooling and update this policy before doing so.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this policy as the service evolves and note the revision date below. Questions or requests: hello@taisource.example.
